A heartfelt thanks received

15 July 2019

The efforts of our Community Payback teams do not go unnoticed. Once again, we have received great praise for some of the recent work undertaken, this time at St. Peter's and St. Paul's Hextable, Swanley Village:

Community Payback Scheme

Note of appreciation, regarding work undertaken at St. Paul's Churchyard, Swanley Village

Dear Sir or Madam:

We have been having the Community Payback team help with the churchyard at St. Paul's for many years and are truly grateful for their help in what you can appreciate is a large area to keep under control.

I am moved to write to you on this occasion because we have been struck by the particular effort and effectiveness they are showing this year, for which we are so thankful. This present and ongoing makes such a difference.

We have had several comments made on how much more attractive the churchyard looks and what a pleasure it is to spend time in this peaceful and beautiful place. This would not be the case without the help of your team, so please pass on my thanks on behalf of our church and community.

With heartfelt thankfulness

Revd Johnny Douglas

Vicar and Chair of the PCC
